RITMUN 2021

HIGHLIGHTS

The RITMUN 2021 event encouraged interests in debate and global issues by providing the opportunity for participants to experience a simulated United Nations conference. This was a positive opportunity for both experienced and inexperienced participants to attend a MUN conference during the trying times of the pandemic via an online conference. Participants engaged with fellow delegates in discussing the agendas given for each committee. As such, it encouraged practices in researching on their allocated country and policies surrounding the topic and committee, engaging in the debate via moderated and unmoderated speeches and constructing resolutions to the issue on hand. This event achieved a process of cultivating students in becoming global citizens and leaders driven by the motivation to seek solutions to conflict.
