RITMUNC is a dynamic circle at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, dedicated to simulating United Nations conferences where members role-play as representatives of various countries. Through these simulations, participants engage in discussions and negotiations to address global issues, honing their skills in analysis, debate, diplomacy, and critical thinking. The club aims to immerse students in the Model United Nations experience, fostering future diplomats and problem solvers.

The upcoming RITMUN APU 2025 event, scheduled from 4th to 6th April, 2025 will feature a physical conference format with four councils (03 English and 01 Japanese) held on the APU campus. During the conference, delegates will represent different countries within specific UN committees, working to craft resolutions on assigned agendas while adhering to their countries' policies. The event will host around 120 to 150 participants from Japan and beyond, with prize awarded to the top two delegates in each committee.

Through RITMUN APU 2025, RITMUNC primarily seeks to stimulate students’ interest in debate and global concerns. As such, we would like to offer a suitable atmosphere for students to discuss a range of global topics with one another. Students may hone their research and debate, diplomatic and negotiating, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities through RITMUN APU 2025 through debating the agendas provided for each committee with other delegates. Therefore, it will promote the habit of researching the nation in question and the policies pertaining to the topic and committee, participating in the discussion through both moderated and unmoderated speeches, and developing solutions to the problem at hand.
